The effectiveness of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) on sleep quality and quality of life of patients with cardiovascular problems

Introduction: People with cardiovascular problems have poor sleep quality and of life. These exacerbate the process their disease. Aim: The purpose this study was to investigate effectiveness acceptance commitment-based therapy on improving life patients. Method: This research has been executed in context a clinical trial plan pre-test, post-test two-month six-month follow up period. Among patients disease Kermanshah city who had referred hospitals year 2020-2021, 40 people were purposefully selected randomly assigned experimental (n=20) control groups. Tools included: Pittsburgh index (PSQI) Short form health survey (SF-36). group received eight sessions 90-minute commitment therapy. SPSS-24 software repeated measures analysis variance used analyze data. Results: results indicated that leads significant improvement (P<0.01). effect size for 0.63 0.62, respectively Conclusion: findings showed improved problems.
